Children wilderness Nienburg

Since September 2015, the Nienburg district group has been operating the BUND Kinderwildnis, a nature playground in the middle of Nienburg. Located between the Friedrich-Ebert-Schule and Ziegelkampstrasse, it is easy to reach on foot, by bus or by bike. The Kinderwildnis is a public playground. Children and young people can come to the Kinderwildnis to play, with or without their parents. Thus, the Kinderwildnis has become a popular destination for children and families since its existence. Unlike many playgrounds, there is plenty of space at the Kinderwildnis. It is about 8000m² in size. There are also "only" two pieces of playground equipment: a swing for two and a stilt house with a log bridge, climbing net and slide bar. On the children's wilderness is mainly played in and with nature. This is a great place for running, hiding and romping through nature. Those who like to climb, mud in the water with enthusiasm or love to build a camp in the high grass will feel at home at the children's wilderness. And for the little hunger in between, the various fruit trees offer a delicious snack directly from the tree. Under environmental pedagogical guidance the circle group offers additionally an extensive child and family program on the child wilderness. Then everyone who feels like it can come and build, research or play on a particular nature theme. School classes, day care centers or other institutions can also use the Children's Wilderness. There are two options for this: Either simply drop by and discover nature on the grounds on your own, or book an event tailored specifically to the group's wishes. Nature experience and environmental education events are offered on various topics from nature.
