Sweet tradition meets Hanseatic history

In the Marzipan Warehouse in the neighboring house is the Marzipan Warehouse Café. The interior with its beam construction from the 12th century, with gallery and the terrace in the inner courtyard, takes you back to the time of the Hanseatic merchants. This atmosphere alone is a highlight of a visit to Lübeck. With a view from the loading hatches of the old Lübeck harbour or the world-famous Holsten Gate, you can enjoy not only the famous Lübeck marzipan cake, but also a diverse selection of cakes and coffee, as well as ice cream creations, such as marzipan ice cream.
