Railroad becomes park

This abandoned railroad site has been transformed into a public park and now offers an unparalleled setting for outdoor activities. With an area of over 20 hectares, there is much to discover at Gleispark Frintrop. There are numerous recreational facilities on the site, such as a skate park, basketball courts, table tennis tables and a beach volleyball court for sports-minded visitors. For families, there is a large playground, picnic areas and open meadows to relax in. For adrenaline junkies, there are also parkour elements and BMX tracks.
