Anyone strolling through Schusterstraße on a Saturday morning is almost magically "drawn" to the Deutsches Haus. It's best not to resist, because the seats there fill up so quickly. No wonder, because the old Freiburg town house, which has been registered with the city since 1386, serves typical Freiburg beer (Ganter), Baden wines, Schäufele, sausage salad, Kässpätzle, Baden beef and Black Forest trout at rustic wooden tables. Down-to-earth cuisine. Great.
