The museum displays works ranging from the Middle Ages to the contemporary avant-garde and immerses its visitors in the world of art. The extensive art education and cultural program also continually opens up new perspectives on art and cultural history for guests. Here the "magic of the original" can be experienced live and the guest gets an insight into 1000 years of art through different exhibits. The LWL Museum of Art and Culture offers an outstanding guided tour concept. On numerous dates, interested visitors can take part in public guided tours with different focuses. The guided tours are free of charge - only the entrance fee has to be paid.
