From manor to natural oasis

A true oasis of relaxation stretches around the former Lützschena manor. Lützschena Castle Park was laid out in the 19th century by the von Sternburg family in the style of an English landscape garden. The park is home to many highlights such as the romantic Diana Temple, the banks of the Elster and Luppe rivers and a herd of alpacas, which are bred here in the Sternburg family tradition. The former farm building of the von Sternburg family is now also home to the "Auwaldstation" environmental education center. Lützschena Castle Park is a great place to explore on a long walk.
