Time travel to the convent in the 16th century - Stiftsmuseum Asbeck
The noble ladies' convent and its predecessor, the Cistercian nunnery, can look back on a history of over 800 years. Founded in 1538, the convent consists of a collegiate church and a collegiate house, which together form the center of the idyllic village of Leeden. The collegiate house houses a small museum with documents relating to the foundation and dissolution of the convent. The exhibition also provides interesting insights into life in Leeden Abbey.
