Light art in the urban landscape

The Kunstlichttor 14 is one of 16 Kunstlichttoren in Bochum, which are part of an artistically oriented lighting project in public spaces. In this light gate, the number 14 is clearly placed in the foreground. It appears in the vitrines in which, for example, 14-year-olds talk about their lives or 14 employees report on their everyday lives, and passers-by who pass through the gate are counted on a large display. 2009 saw the realization of the constellation through the concept of Jürgen Meier.
