Theater of the Young World

Theater der Jungen Welt is the oldest professional theater for children and young people in the German-speaking world. Today, with its diverse program and various educational theater offerings, it caters to young and older theatergoers alike. It performs plays for children and young people and, in the evening performances, for students and adults. The Theater der Jungen Welt is located in the Theaterhaus am Lindenauer Markt in the western part of Leipzig, where it has three permanent venues. In addition, mobile performances are held on the theater bus, in kindergartens or classrooms. The repertoire of the Theater der Jungen Welt includes over 45 different plays.
