Forest swimming pool Rastenberg

The Rastenberg forest swimming pool, a listed building since December 2003, is located on the edge of the Hohe Schrecke, nestled in the Mühltal and surrounded by forest. Since its opening in 1925, many historic buildings have been erected, such as the changing rooms and the Wandelhalle. The association "Rastenberger Waldschwimmbad" e.V. has worked to preserve all of this, so the row of cabins became a cabin peek museum - through glass panes in the cabin doors, you can follow the 8 past decades of bathing history. You can expect 5,000 m² of water surface for a guaranteed relaxed swimming experience. With a shallow water area, a toddler slide, a water playground and a 70-meter slide, there's plenty for the kids to let off steam, too. A great view over the bath awaits you on the newly designed terrace. A restaurant offers food and drinks. Various sporting and cultural events are offered during the bathing season. In 2015, the Waldschwimmbad has existed for 90 years.
