100 years of rock and pop history

The museum, which opened in 2004, focuses on the music of rock and pop history. The exhibition combines experience with information and sensory experience with interaction. Sound corridors and media installations allow visitors to experience the music directly. The museum also provides detailed background information on 100 years of rock and pop history. One highlight is the CAN Studio, one of the most legendary German recording studios. Eight studio albums by the German avant-garde band "CAN" were produced here in the 1970s. Albums for Marius Müller-Westerhagen were also produced here. We particularly recommend the Greenbox, where you can become the star of your own music video.
