Four at one stroke

Hof Deitmar is the only one of the four "original farms" that once shaped the village of Emsdetten to have been preserved, making it a special focal point of the town even today. The adjoining park with its large playground is a popular destination for families in particular. But culture lovers will also find a wide range of attractions on the Hof Deitmar museum island, as the grounds around the beautiful half-timbered building are also known. The Heimatbund Emsdetten, which also uses parts of the premises at Hof Deitmar, runs several museums on the site: the Wannenmachermuseum, the August-Holländer-Museum, the Backhaus and the Speicher. Each museum is unique in its own way and displays special historical events from Emsdetten.
