Enchanting Renaissance reliefs

The Biblical House is one of the most important merchants' houses of the Renaissance period and was built between 1570 and 1572. The house got its name from its elaborately designed façade, which features reliefs with scenes from the Old and New Testaments. The central staircase hall inside also makes the Biblical House an important example of the group of Görlitz hall houses. And if you would like to know what it looks like from the inside, you can take part in a guided tour every Friday at 3 pm. Tickets are available from the museum ticket office in the Baroque House.
