The Davensberg Castle Tower is the exciting remains of a former castle complex, which was probably built around 1250. First mentioned in a document in 1263, the entire complex has been generously expanded and rebuilt again and again over the centuries. The large castle tower also dates from this time, which houses a fireplace room on the upper floor, a prison on the ground floor and a gloomy dungeon in the basement.
