The folk dance
The mural shows a dance scene of a Soviet people. The artwork was designed by Robert Diedrichs, who worked in Chemnitz from 1953 after studying art in Dresden.

One of the four lead inlays on Brückenstraße shows a sports scene, designed by Rudolf Kraus.

International Peace Ride
Between 1964 and 1965, several murals were created on the prefabricated apartment buildings along Brückenstraße. The lead intarsia on porphyry by Johannes Belz shows a scene of the International Peace Ride. The International Peace Ride is being revived today as a project of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 under the name European Peace Ride. The finish takes place annually on the second Sunday in September in Chemnitz.

Roof garden in the active building
Opened in 2022, the roof garden on the roof of Hall G invites resident companies and guests to relax, work and network. It's also a great contribution to Chemnitz' urban ecology.

Schubert & Salzer Tower
63 meter high clock tower of the former textile machine factory of Carl August Schubert and Franz Bruno Salzer - today known as Wirkbau. In 1927, the brick clock tower with clock and bell mechanism was designed and built by the architect Erich Basarke and is today the landmark of the industrial area.
