Etelseno pilis su pilies parku
Etelseno pilis, pastatyta 1886 m. neorenesanso stiliumi*, patyrė įvykių kupiną istoriją. "Schlossparkverein Etelsen e.V." iškėlė sau užduotį išsaugoti pilį, kuri yra svarbi toli už Verdeno rajono ribų, ir maždaug 10 hektarų pilies parką su savo flora ir fauna, kuris yra įtrauktas į sąrašą.
Rūmų parką, esantį Etelsene, Vėzerio šlaite, apie 1900 m. danų grafo Christiano zu Reventlow vardu modernizavo kunigaikščio promenados inspektorius Friedrichas Kreißas iš Brunsviko. Neogotikinio mauzoliejaus architektas buvo gerai žinomas meistras statybininkas Conradas Wilhelmas Hase. Daugiau nei 4 km pėsčiųjų takų lankytojai gali mėgautis gamtos įvairove ilgų pasivaikščiojimų metu. Visose pilies pusėse architektūriniai elementai ir statiniai apibrėžia plataus parko ploto sodo išvaizdą. Ovalas priešais pilies pastatą, papuoštas rožių lovomis ir fontanu, vis dar laukia lankytojų šiandien. Už pilies prasideda plati parko pieva, į kurią patenkama vingiuotais takais. Didesnės ir mažesnės medžių grupės nutraukia teritoriją ir sukuria ryšį su mišką primenančia parko teritorija, kurioje yra mauzoliejus.
