L’imposant barrage d’eiders à Wesselburenerkoog, l’une des plus grandes structures de protection côtière d’Europe, attire les touristes et les habitants. Les visiteurs peuvent explorer le barrage par eux-mêmes et étudier les panneaux d’information sur le parking du côté de Dithmarschen. La zone n’est pas accessible aux personnes à mobilité réduite.
