Food lovers heaven - Borough Market

Borough Market is located in central London next to Southwark Cathedral. It has been around since 1756, when it was best known for its cheese. Today you can get food from all over the world: exotic fruits, free-range pulled pork, traditional fish and chips, an absolutely delicious mushroom risotto and lots of sweet treats (my favourite: pistachio donuts from Bread Ahead). The market has a really cool atmosphere, the underground tracks run above you and you can feel the long history of the place. It's best to go during the weekday mornings/lunchtimes when it's not as busy as on the weekends.
