Sin embargo, la atracción principal sigue siendo la pista de trineo de verano, ya que un moderno sistema de remontes te transporta en pocos minutos hasta la cima de la montaña, de 584 m de altura. Durante el descenso, cada uno puede usar los frenos para determinar la velocidad a la que quiere ir. Se pueden alcanzar velocidades de hasta 40 km/h. También se ofrecen bobs gemelos para que los más pequeños puedan deslizarse junto con uno de sus padres o un hermano mayor.
En la primavera de 2016 se inauguró el nuevo parque temático "Druid Village", que recuerda a un pueblo celta por su construcción natural y su aspecto único. La pieza central del inusual parque infantil es el "Castillo del Druida", una estructura combinada de torre, cabañas, puentes, cuerdas, redes y ascensos para trepar. Un columpio triple, un vagón con hamaca o red de columpio y una zona de juegos de arena con cabañas de juego y animales de balancín para niños pequeños garantizan un enorme valor lúdico.
El uso del parque infantil es gratuito.
Desde la terraza al aire libre del bistró de enfrente, los padres pueden vigilar de cerca a sus hijos mientras juegan. El bistró sirve pequeñas comidas y bebidas, y los visitantes pueden extender sus mantas de picnic en el amplio césped. Al aumentar el valor recreativo, gracias a la infraestructura profesional y al paisaje similar a un parque, el centro recreativo de Peterberg se ha convertido en un destino de excursiones de todo el día en el norte del Sarre, especialmente apreciado por las familias.
