Historic mill with charm
Learn the art of baking bread from scratch in a historic setting where spelt, rye, and wheat are still grown in the surrounding fields. Under the guidance of the experienced miller's wife, you will discover how to make your own dough, fold and grind bread professionally and finally bake crispy rolls in the stone oven. After the baking course, a hike through the fields that provide the ingredients for the flour leads directly to the mill, where a guided tour of the over 130-year-old, still active Hegnacher mill rounds off the day.
