Henkersteg
Picturesque photo motifs
The Henkersteg, once known as the "Langer Steg", connects two parts of the city and is a historical relic from the 14th century. The executioner's apartment was once located here in the adjoining tower. Today, the Henkersteg is a popular meeting point and photo motif in the city. An exhibition on Nuremberg's legal history can be viewed in the executioner's house. The Henkersteg and the nearby Weinstadel provide a picturesque backdrop for souvenir photos.
