In 1768, Frederick II had the Orangery building, located next to the Sanssouci Palace and Picture Gallery, converted into a guest palace. Admittedly, you can no longer spend the night in the "New Chambers" today, but you can at least visit them until the end of October. And it's worth it in any case: the ceremonial rooms and apartments are lavishly decorated. The highlight is the hall of the same name in the center of the castle, which is lined with jasper.
