Insights into mining history

The tour of the museum starts from the panorama platform at a height of 40 m in the tower. The complete topic of Saarland coal mining is presented there. The associated underground facility offers visitors the opportunity to experience different types of construction and machines from different eras as well as the working life of the miners. The surrounding park landscape is equipped with a playground, two ponds and the Gulliver World, which can be visited free of charge. Free car and bus parking spaces are available. Last admission: 60 minutes before closing.
