Unique sea of lights

Climb the Memmert fire and enjoy a rare sight: a lighthouse that shines its light exclusively over the island and not on the sea. A curious story and a wonderful view await you on the viewing platform. What's so special about our beacon? It has always stood on Memmert, a sandbank in the southwest of Juist, but dune collapses have endangered the lighthouse. So without further ado it was dismantled and lovingly restored to our island itself. And so you have the opportunity to experience Juist from a very special perspective. In the summer months, a real lighthouse keeper will guide you through the history and special features of the Memmertfeuer lighthouse.
