Unique nature experience

On an area of over 80 square meters, the interactive nature experience center "Moorfibel" in the NABU house at the Red Moor offers exciting insights into the unique habitat of the raised bog. Here you can learn why moors are important for climate protection and what needs to be done to preserve them. While a boardwalk leads through the Red Moor, you can encounter rare plants such as the sundew and the cranberry. In the restaurant you can enjoy regional food and taste coffee and cake on the terrace. In winter, the NABU house is also the center for cross-country skiing in the Rhön.
