At Restaurant sein, located in Karlsruhe's Weststadt district, you can simply "be": the name says it all. The tastefully decorated restaurant was awarded one star in the Michelin Guide in 2019. The second MICHELIN star followed in 2023. Head chef Thorsten Bender offers modern, creative cuisine. The focus is on high-quality products and their excellent preparation. Ingredients are combined in a minimalist yet sophisticated way. Asian-inspired accents can be found time and again, creating successful contrasts. You can choose between two 6-course menus, "querbeet" and "grünzeug", which are occasionally served personally by head chef Thorsten Bender and his kitchen team. At lunchtime, a changing lunch menu with three to four courses is served.
