Diver's disease beware!

The construction of a landmark - the old Elbe tunnel - proved to be technically far ahead, but extremely dangerous. What few people know is that three workers died from diving-related illnesses during construction under overpressure. Today, however, it is safe and a wonderful experience to cross the tunnel on foot or by bike. The view of the city from the other side is particularly worthwhile at the end!
