View over the picturesque landscape: the German Olympus observation tower

A fantastic view awaits you here from the heights of the Wingst across the Elbe to Brunsbüttel and as far as Cuxhaven-Altenbruch. The observation tower was inaugurated in 1860 and has been renovated and enlarged several times since then. The tower is now 23 meters high and offers visitors a fascinating view of the surrounding landscape. The viewing platform is located at an altitude of around 90 meters above sea level, offering a sweeping view across the Elbe as far as Schleswig-Holstein. You get reduced admission with the guest card. With an admission ticket from the Wingster Waldzoo on the same day, you get free admission to the observation tower.
