Ilses Erika - affectionately known as "Ilse" - in Connewitz is anything but boring and it's hard to imagine Leipzig without it for almost 20 years now. Here you get everything at once: dancing in the basement club and drinks at the bar, DJ sets and live music next door and comfortable sofas for short breathers. Once back upstairs, the Tanzcafé's beer garden is directly adjacent, which makes hot summer days and nights special and provides cooling.
