Bergischer Radring
Without gradients: Because the Bergisch Cycle Ring links the old railroad lines Nordbahntrasse, Korkenziehertrasse and Balkantrasse to form a route of around 66 kilometers with few inclines, but with many highlights: Some of the region's most famous sights await you to the right and left of the route:
- the idyllic town center of Solingen Gräfrath with the German Blade Museum
- the Müngsten Bridge Park with Germany's highest railroad bridge and the transporter bridge over the Wupper river
- Burg Castle, which you can also reach (with your bike) by cable car
- the historic town center of Remscheid-Lennep with the German Röntgen Museum
- Wuppertal with the famous suspension railroad and many other attractions
Tip: The length of the route is ideal for a day trip on an e-bike. Thanks to the connection to Deutsche Bahn (incl. bike transport), you can also cycle part of the route - perfect for families and leisure cyclists, even without an e-bike.
