Medieval flair on the outskirts of the city

The castle is somewhat hidden between a lake and a river, just outside Munich, and there is something for everyone, whether you walk along the beautiful hiking trails or visit the museum. There is also a chapel and a great restaurant with a beer garden in the courtyard or by the lake, so it is definitely worth a visit.
