A magical place with incredibly nice staff and excellent food - it's best to order different things and share, because EVERYTHING is an explosion of flavor. The Nasi Kuning, especially the roasted peanuts with coconut flakes - was to die for.

Unfortunately discovered only on the last day - but absolutely celebrated: the Nasigoreng Ayam at Warung Adji, for an incredible 1.30€. Apparently only locals eat here - but beware, Spicy Level Medium is already hot as hell. Absolute insider tip. 🌶️

Vegetarian café that offers super good coffee and damn tasty breakfast. Best to choose the small tables on the balcony - then you have to coffee even ne exciting view of the Balinese everyday hustle and bustle.

Gauri was recommended to us by our host - and we missed it by a hair. Tucked away in a back side street, it was perhaps one of the best dinners in Bali. Urgently order the Spring Rolls.

Yes, it is authentic. Yes, it's super cheap. But above all, it's so delicious. It's best to order straight from the menu - Bakwan Sayur and Mie Goreng are an absolute must! You can also take a cooking class in the little shop "Maria's Boemboe" if you want to cook the recipes at home. Towards the evening, the drinks tend to run out - but that's no problem, there's a kiosk opposite and you're welcome to drink the drinks from there in the store 😅

The Mother serves super photogenic food - but it also tastes fabulous. Mojito as a mocktail: mega! Wonderfully sour.

Small, not very touristy warung - with wonderfully sweet hosts. A cool Bintang and the Nasigoreng; top! Especially nice when it is dark in the evening.

Super friendly restaurant with fair prices, live music and a good atmosphere. If necessary, the waitress helps out with the live band 😉

Nautilus serves delicious coconuts and is the perfect place to enjoy them with a fantastic view - be sure to try them!

Bakso Spesial, Bakwan Sayur and lots of other local specialties can be found at the Night Market at incredibly low prices. A little tip: if the locals say "it's not very spicy", just order a little less spicy. Spicy level reigns at this place: 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶

If you pay the equivalent of just under 12€ for two starters, three main courses and four drinks - AND then everything tastes so divine, you've landed at Warung Soka. Most wonderful food for small money - and cordial service of the family comes still on top. Be sure to order the "Sambal Matah" with it.

Delicious curry, gado gado and an incredibly tasty peanut sauce - this and much more is cooked and made by yourself under the guidance of a super friendly team. Recipes will be added afterwards - so for the next 3 months, it's peanut sauce first 🤤

Admittedly, the small Zzz Warung doesn't look particularly inviting at first glance, but the food can't be beaten for authenticity. Incredibly tasty and simply unbeatable in terms of price. - For example, a nasi goreng for €1.30.

Almost every 50m there is a stand with new delicacies. Fried chicken. Sausage kebab. Whole corn on the cob or a fried banana. Delicious.
