Historische Funde entdecken
Vor rund 14.000 Jahren wurden Adam und Eva, die als „Adam und Eva aus dem Rheinland“ bekannt sind, am Fuß der Rabenlay begraben. Die Rabenlay ist eine 180 Meter hohe Erhebung nördlich des Siebengebirges und diente lange Zeit als Basaltsteinbruch. 1914 entdeckten Arbeiter dort die Skelette eines Mannes und einer Frau aus der Steinzeit.
Diese Relikte sind zwar jünger als die rheinischen Überbleibsel des Neandertalers, führten aber zu bahnbrechenden Erkenntnissen. Seit 2017 sorgt eine Aussichtsplattform über dem Rheintal für einen beeindruckenden Überblick. Besuche sie und genieße die spektakuläre Aussicht!
