Zamek Etelsen z parkiem zamkowym
Zbudowany w 1886 roku w stylu neorenesansowym* zamek Etelsen przeżył burzliwą historię. Schlossparkverein Etelsen e.V. postawił sobie za zadanie zachowanie zamku, który jest ważny daleko poza dzielnicą Verden, oraz ok. 10-hektarowego parku zamkowego z jego florą i fauną, który jest budynkiem zabytkowym.
Park pałacowy, położony w Etelsen na zboczu Wezery, został zmodernizowany około 1900 roku przez książęcego inspektora promenady Friedricha Kreißa z Brunszwiku na zlecenie duńskiego hrabiego Christiana zu Reventlow. Architektem neogotyckiego mauzoleum był znany mistrz budowlany Conrad Wilhelm Hase. Na ponad 4 km szlaków turystycznych odwiedzający mogą cieszyć się różnorodnością przyrody podczas długich spacerów.
