Tapijt van vruchtbaarheid
Goden en slingers, jachtwild en Medusahoofden, stenen pracht en praal, gemaakt in een tijd waarin nomaden elders tapijten van schapenvacht alleen maakten voor bescherming. Het lange stenen tapijt - hier vandaag de dag een symbool van gastvrijheid en culturele diversiteit - verwijst naar Turkmeense knooptechnieken die oorspronkelijk geluk moesten brengen, onheil moesten afwenden, voorspoed en vruchtbaarheid van de kuddes moesten symboliseren.
