Einblicke in eine Welt der Kunstvielfalt
Das Kunsthaus Meyenburg präsentiert in einer historischen Villa von 1907, zu der auch ein hübscher Aussichtsturm gehört, wechselnde Sonderausstellungen.
Hier und im angrenzenden Park finden regelmäßig Veranstaltungen statt. In der Villa ergibt sich eine ungewöhnliche Verbindung der Ausstellungsstücke mit dem historischen Interieur. So wird antikem Mobiliar aus dem 14. bis 19. Jh. moderne Kunst gegenübergestellt, grafische Werke kontrastieren vor kräftigen Jugendstil-Wandfarben. Die überregional bedeutsamen Kunstausstellungen widmen sich namhaften Künstlern und Künstlergruppen wie z. B. Hundertwasser, Dalí, Picasso sowie zeitgenössischen Künstlern wie Horst Janssen und Jörg Immendorf.
