Rehm-Flehde-Bargen
Betagende udsigt over Mötjenpolder
Lundener Niederung er et naturreservat på omkring 900 hektar. Lavlandsområdet omfatter Krempeler Moor, den tilstødende Mötjenpolder og Mötjensee og den tidligere Steller See samt områderne derimellem. De to søer er tidligere strandsøer, som siden er tilsiltet eller er ved at siltes op, og som var dannet mellem en tidligere odde i vest og Geestryggen i øst. Naturreservatet har stor betydning for eng- og trækfugle. Blandt andet er goshawk, greylag goose, black-tailed godwit, lapwing, reed warbler og skylark hjemmehørende her. Rastende fugle omfatter curlew, whooper svane og barnacle gås. Den hvide stork besøger området som fodergæst. Hele komplekset er habitat for hedefrøen og andre amfibier. Naturreservatet tilbyder også et passende levested for odderen.Naturreservatet kan opleves på cykel-, vandre- og ridestier.
